monoblock

Monoblock were be formed by Tobo and Schneidi somewhen in 1997, I guess. They mark a milestone of rock music in Rostock. I don’t know another band in this city that act out its passion for chicago post rock as impassionately as they did. Their sound reminds me of bands like slint or june of 44. Started as a two-piece they continuously grow over the years. A main reason for this was to improve their live presence. Monoblock never quit. I’d mean, that they’re actually in a state of hibernation. Tobo and Schneidi are members of the indie/pop band microstern.
