monoblock

Monoblock has been formed by Tobo and Schneidi somewhen in 1997, I guess. They mark a milestone of rock music in Rostock. I don’t know another band in this city that act out its passion for chicago post rock as impassionately as they did. Their sound reminds me of bands like slint or june of 44. Started as a two-piece they continuously grow over the years. A main reason for this was to improve their live presence. Monoblock has quit. What a pity! Tobo and Schneidi have been members of the indie/pop band microstern.
